What is Chu Luan Fang?

Chu Luan Fang, also known as Fertility Tonic, is an effective variant of Zhi Shen Yu Tai Wan. It contains 14 herbs to support fertility.

What are the benefits of Chu Luan Fang?

In TCM, Chu Luan Fang is used to invigorate the kidneys, regulate the liver, and tonify the blood. 

A modern formula, Chu Luan Fang is used to address patients with low ovarian reserves and poor egg quality. Fertility Tonic contains Chai Hu to smooth the Liver Qi and regulate emotions during fertility treatment, and Dan Shen to remove blood stasis for improved egg quality.

What is the dosage and method for taking Chu Luan Fang?

The generally recommended dosage of Chu Luan Fang in capsule form is four capsules, two to three times daily; or as loose granules, 4.5 g mixed with hot water, 2-3 times per day. However, always follow your healthcare provider's instructions, as the dosage can vary based on your condition and response to treatment.

When can I expect to see results?

Chu Luan Fang typically starts to take effect within days, however, fertility treatments may last several months’ duration. Like all treatments, its efficacy can vary from person to person.

Does Chu Luan Fang have any side effects?

While Chu Luan Fang is generally considered safe for most people, it can cause side effects in some individuals. Women who are pregnant, nursing, or postpartum as well as people with liver disease, should avoid or use Chu Luan Fang with caution.
